Omamori Group Update 2

 Omamori Group Notes

March 5th, 2014

Dimensions of the omamori components

First, our omamori fabric was cut to 3 x 7 inches.

White liner (protects inside of omamori bag) was cut to 2 x 6 inches.

White liner was centered on the fabric.

White paper was ironed onto the inside of the fabric.

The omamori bag was folded in half and ironed carefully.

With the inner side facing out, the omamori bag was folded and sewn.

The bag was sewn shut on three sides.

Excess string and fabric were cut from the bag.

The omamori bags were turned right-side out and tops were folded inward.

The bags are nearly complete!

A hole was punched in the top of each bag and colored string was threaded through.

Bags are complete!
