Only 75% of students felt that safety was even a priority on campus. Their thoughts about:
Safe Ride - "takes too much time", "drivers are rude", "They take WAY too long to come and sometimes I give up and walk." [29]
Better campus lighting - "depends on the spot on campus but event then most of the lights are not very bright", "streets and sidewalks more lit, not just the quad" [29]
Security Guards - "I haven't seen any since the beginning of the year", "they do not actually CARE (they're all on their phones)", " they just clump with their friends and chat all night instead of watching" [29]
Police - "they're nice but don't know the campus AT ALL", "have police that actually know where the dorms are" [29]
Emergency Phones - "I don't know if these even work. I don't know anything about them." [29]
