You’re Hogwarts’s Only Guidance Counselor. Can You Convince Anyone To Go To College? is in the format of a classic choose-your-own-adventure, similar to a Twine story. To progress in the story, some options are inevitable, while others allow you to make a choice that can make or break your outcome. The story is a form of vicarious audience play, as “almost anything can allow play to occur within its boundaries” (Sutton-Smith 3). The story includes a photo for each page to support the plot and provide visual narrative. In this way, it functions similarly to a comic book, with a combination of words and pictures.
