On May 19, Brent Zweifel interviewed Richard Byrne, the SIDLIT 2016 keynote speaker and author of the wildly popular Free Technology for Teachers. The video follows.
About the Author
Brent Zweifel graduated from Central Missouri State University (which is now called University of Central Missouri) in May 2004 with a B.S.E in Business Education. He started working in public education at an elementary school in Excelsior Springs, MO, "teaching" computer skills to kindergarteners through fifth grade students from 2005-2007. During that time, he earned his Masters in Educational Technology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. He then started working for Wentworth Military Academy and College in 2007 as the High School Computer Teacher. The following year, he was hired as the Computer Instructor for the college. Later that year, he was asked to also oversee the college's online program. In the Summer of 2014, he was promoted to a new position within the college as the Director of Distance Learning and Online Program.
