Letter from the Chair: Vincent Miller

By Vincent Miller, Johnson County Community College

Greetings, C2C members:

The third edition of the Colleague2Colleague digital magazine is now live. C2C is a volunteer organization of colleges and universities that shares technology expertise, resources, and training for online education and instructional technology in higher education.

This issue has contributions from across our region, with expertise about exciting technologies on member campuses. In this edition, you can learn about Adobe Slate, Simulation-based Learning, CengageNow / D2L, Video Term Papers, ADA, Literacy Support Software, Mapping Cyberspace, Flickr, the Google Books Ngram Viewer, Qualtrics™, and much more.

You can also read about the process for selecting the three C2C 2015 award winners in the areas of teaching, technical support, and leadership. (Their identities will be revealed during #SIDLIT2015!  More in-depth articles about our colleagues will follow in the Fall 2015-Winter 2016 issue.)

Join us for the 2015 SIDLIT on July 30 and 31 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. The C2C steering committee is pleased to welcome Ali Jafari as this year's keynote speaker. The theme for SIDLIT this year is Driving Change--Steering into the Future of Ed Tech. See more information at http://sidlit.org/ . I hope to see you at SIDLIT this summer!

Please consider submitting an article for the Fall 2015 / Winter 2016 edition of the digital magazine. The submission process is detailed on this page.

Finally, many thanks to all of the authors for their contributions in this new edition of the digital magazine, and especially to Shalin Hai-Jew and Rebecca Gould for the hard work they contribute to bring this publication together with such a high level of quality.
