In Los Angeles En Los Angeles Em Los Angeles

ACCOMMODATIONS:      Radisson -Hotel at USC

We have blocked off rooms at the Radisson at USC for all Convergence participants. Please call 1-800-333-3333 and use the name of the event "Hemi GSI Convergence" or the dates (Oct 10th, 11th, 12th, checking out Oct 13th) when making reservations in order to receive the special group rate of $149. If booking online, use the code "GSI." The price includes the "grab-n-go" breakfast, and all amenities including internet, business center, pool, gym.

From LAX airport, take the Primetime Shuttle or Super Shuttle to the Radisson at USC. If you travel in a group, the rate for the shuttle is cheaper (example: $27 per person, $36 for two people)

When you exit baggage claim, look for signs for the shuttles companies. Shuttles leave regularly from the airport. There is no need to book in advance. You can schedule a trip once you arrive at the airport.

Alternative options:

Los Angeles is a vibrant and safe city with numerous hotel and motel chains for all price ranges. We suggest staying in neighborhoods with easy public transportation to USC and UCLA. Some of these neighborhoods include Culver City, Downtown LA, Silver Lake/Echo Park, West Hollywood.

AirBnB – Great site for affordable home and room rentals.

TRANSPORTATION/ TRANSPORTE

USC Transportation will provide shuttle service for all Convergence participants between the two campuses. However if you prefer to rent a car, there is street parking around the USC neighborhood. You will have no trouble finding street parking around USC, but there are also parking structures that cost $10 for the day.

The surrounding area by UCLA is permit parking only. At UCLA, the cost to park for one day at the public parking structures is $11.
