Isabel Gómez received her M.A. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of California Los Angeles (2011) and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago (2004). Her research interests include translation studies in Latin America, avant-garde poetics, literary translation practice, and hemispheric studies.
