The following video provides a brief overview of the iMovie audio-related functions. One can edit sound in Audacity and then import it into iMovie to marry it to picture. Conversely, one can export sound from iMovie and import it into Audacity to clean up the sound and add effects. The asynchronous workshop, Working with Video: Introduction to Picture Editing, will be made available on October 22nd and will discuss iMovie, including the mechanics of editing sound, in greater detail.
