In order to remain relevant, responsive, and engaged in its community and its world, The New School's programs, departments, and divisions have evolved. This constant change has created challenges for those archiving the institution's history: how can we trace the history of institutional units that migrate to new divisions, merge with other programs, undergo name changes?
