  8. is now a state of the very highest charac-
  9. ter & intelligence, physically & morally
  10. the pivotal state of ˄with 1,100.000 people.
  11. Now we are going to colonize Utah
  12. & suppress polygamy by local law: & who
  13.  shall say to us “nay” ?
