The Space Between: Literature and Culture 1914-1945

Editors and Editorial Board

The Space Between:  Literature and Culture 1914-1945 is the peer-reviewed journal for The Space Between Society.  Like the society, the journal is devoted to interdisciplinary scholarship on the period bracketed by the two World Wars.  We are interested in approaches to texts of all kinds, emphasizing research on lesser-known writers and artists and understudied topics of the period, including literary and cultural responses to the First and Second World Wars.

After five years as Editor, Janine Utell will step down upon the publication of the 2020 issue of The Space Between.  Applications are now being sought for the position of Editor.

Those interested should send a CV and letter of interest detailing relevant experience to Janine Utell by April 15, 2020.  The new Editor will be announced at the 2020 conference at the University of Virginia.
