The South

The state, ruling elites, and the middle class in the quest for hegemony. As stated earlier, the South is
becoming increasingly larger and more influential around the world. For
example, they talked about the software developers that are becoming more
important in the North by selling their software to them. There is a lot of
opportunity to move up in the South as well as the middle class begins fighting
to move upward to take control of certain markets. In theory, this is supposed
to also trickle down and improve the economy overall of the country
experiencing an economic improvement. This also means careers within
information technology is also becoming a lucrative career in developing
countries.
