CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS ISSUE 2.0: IMAGERY

This call is for text and image. We want shape. We want concrete. We want language poems. How does poetry speak to sight? We welcome poems that verbalize vision, or that engage formally or thematically with an image. Please include prompt materials if possible, or link out to encyclopedias, websites, images, paintings, sculptures, sounds, other poems, or other writings that explicitly or implicitly inform your piece. 3 poems maximum per submission.

Please email submissions to stroboscope.magazine@gmail.com by MARCH 1, 2014.

We will work with you to publish your poem and its image online.

Please include a brief bio (100 words maximum) with your submission and include a photo.

In submitting you are affirming that you have written this work and retain copyright. In submitting, you are granting Stroboscope the right to publish this work on our website. Copyright remains with the author.

This call is for versions of a poem and the manuscripts, sketches, outlines, and diagrams that inform your poetic process. We welcome poems that contemplate versioning and process. Engage formally or thematically with the issue of versions and send us your results. Please include prompt materials if possible, or link out to encyclopedias, websites, images, paintings, sculptures, sounds, other poems, or other writings that explicitly or implicitly inform your piece. 3 poems maximum per submission.
