The Steelworks Y Baseball leagues had a long running era.  Many teams participated making it possible to hold end of season championship games each season.  Baseball was a major focus point for the entertainment of workers.  The all American sport made it possible to create a new image of human compassion which this particular steel industry needed in order to continue building an empire.
