Censorship

Stalin altered and destroyed many photos, film, and other media sources that were against the Soviet Union. Although many censored items had to do with the media or artists, many photos that were censored were of political figures affected by the Great Purge. Stalin wanted to erase these people from history by erasing their photos from images. These photos included are only a few of the main political figures affected by Soviet censorship.
