Memory and History: Transforming the Narrative of the Spanish Civil War and Francoist Repression

Education and Research

One objective of the Spanish Civil War Memory Project is to educate future generations about the events that took place in Spain during the Spanish Civil War and Francoist repression. To achieve this goal, we are developing research and teaching materials based on the archive to share on this page. We also seek to establish collaborative relations with universities in the United States and abroad to train researchers how to create bilingual and time-coded indexes. For more information, see our Indexing Guidelines. If you would like to contribute to this page, participate in the project as a researcher, integrate an indexing assignment into one of your courses, or place a student intern with the project, please contact us via the Contact form.
