As a clarification, a tag cloud is different from the tag visualization one finds in the “Dashboard.” A tag cloud is a listing of various words that hyperlink to pages. A tag visualization, in comparison, appears as a web-network of those same words, but this time those words now are rendered in this web-like format. The difference then lies in the design. A tag visualization, unlike a tag cloud, more clearly shows the relational connections these “tagged” words share with other “tagged” words, whereas a tag cloud, as its name suggests, presents the tags as a fog of unordered listings.
