Typescript copy of the secret agreement made by Roger Casement with the German Foreign Office, concerning the formation of a brigade from Irish prisoners of war.
“With a view to securing the national freedom of Ireland, with the moral and material assistance of the Imperial German Government, an Irish Brigade shall be formed from among the Irish soldiers ... now prisoners of war in Germany.”
