Food production operations practice environmental stewardship that conserves biodiversity and preserves natural resources, minimizing use or production of toxic substances.
  • Certified by one of several specified organizations (e.g. USDA Organic, Rainforest Alliance) OR
  • Produce grown at the U of M under organic practices (from Cornercopia Student Organic Farm)
Producer & 50% of ingredients meet above criteria.
