Arco mancante del rispettivo numero ordinale con cui son notati tutti gli altri per rincontranza delle persone che andavano agli spettacoli. sopr’a quest’arco appoggiavasi il ponte, che dal portico di Claudio portava all’Anfiteatro, come dimostra la mancanza fra lo stesso arco e’ l superiore della ricorrenza dell’architrave, e delle altre membra, nella quale s’incastrava il ponte. On top of this arch there was a bridge that went from the Portico of Claudius to the Amphitheater, which is demonstrated by the lack of an architrave between the arch and the one above it, as well as other architectural elements that contained the bridge. B Remains of the parapets between the arches. C Holes in the cornice where the posts were placed to hang the awning [velarium] that covered the amphitheater. D Ledges on which the posts rested. Avanzo delle Mura, e delle Torricelle del Campidoglio sotto la Scuderia del Palazzo Cafarelli E. Altre mure antichissime di peperino brugiate dal fuoco con avanzi delle volte de Corridoj quali veggonsi nell’orticello Savelli dietro le stalle del Palazzo sudetto F.
