...The deafening swell of crickets break Madison's slumber. Streaks of orange and magenta blossom across the sky. Madison stares blankly towards the stratosphere.
Blurred colors, moving silhouettes, and fuzzy logic. An amnesiatic weight pins his body down. With each involuntary breathe the fog disperses revealing sharp streaks of fire burning across his chest, hips, inner thighs, hands, and forearms. Ferns and moss tickle the back of his neck.
Crickets....
