The drawback of nylon fibers 

The most crucial drawback that needs to be counted about nylon fibers is the inability of dissipating static electricity. Drawbacks of olefin fibers 

Low melting point is considered as one of the most significant drawbacks of olefin fibers. When the objects are often dragged on the carpet, they produce heat, which is enough for damaging the fibers. These also create burn marks that are permanent.  


The most expensive fiber from all other threads that are used in commercial carpet manufacturing and construction is wool. Its fiber resists both matting and crushing, and it's durable too.

The most valuable ways of adding colors to carpet fibers are stock dyeing and solution dyeing. Solution dyeing gives the fibers excellent cold sustainability and resistance to fading out. This makes them suitable for applications when the carpets need to be exposed to bleach, harsh detergents, and sunlight.  

On the other side, solution dyeing is low in cost, but it also provides less fiber performance.
