"Afterlives Reincarnated"
One of the more prominent and more interesting motifs that we noticed recurring throughout the exhibit was the concept of an incomplete and/or remixed media narrative. Becker discusses history as an artificial extension of memory and memory as orientation. Therefore, the exhibit displayed actual externalizations of these media histories and narratives, specifically revolving around twentieth century film.

These externalizations by default become physical lenses through which the viewer can gain the knowledge of the history portrayed; when the history is intercepted with another or not a full narrative at all, the lens can then either produce a vivid image or become blurry, forcing the viewer to construct their own interpretive history using bits and pieces of each.
