"Out and About"

"Out and About" was an LGBT literature class taught by Professor Joe Kramer. Housed in the English department, "Out and About" was the first LGBT literature class in the entire tri-college consortium [Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore]. "Out and About" was first taught in Spring 1991 as "Living Alternatives," and continued to be taught every few semesters until Kramer's retirement in 2006.

Hear Professor Emeritus of English Joe Kramer talk about the genesis of the course here.
