Profile of Joe Kramer
Joe Kramer, Professor Emeritus of English, was the first to teach an LGBT literature course in the tri-college consortium [Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore]. His course, "Out and About," first ran in the Spring semester of 1991.
Joe Kramer sat down with us for an oral history to discuss the origins of Out and About, his life as a gay professor, and the old standing room section at the Metropolitan Opera. Listen to it here. Click here to read the transcript.
