Faculty and Staff Panels [1994 and 1998]
The first panel of out faculty and staff at Bryn Mawr College was held on December 4th, 1994. Students packed a room in Taylor Hall to listen to Sharon Ullman of History, Joe Kramer of English, Marty Mastascusa of Human Resources, and others discuss their 'out' lives. The administration was conspicuously absent at the panel, who answered questions from students concerned about life outside the Bryn Mawr Bubble.
The second panel was a 360-degree turn. Held in 1998 in the Campus Center, President Nancy Vickers and every top administrator joined students to listen to a group of mostly adjunct professors discuss life as out adults.
