Avraham Shlonsky

Avraham Shlonsky (1900-1973) was an Israeli poet, editor, translator, playwright, and publicist. He immigrated to Israel in 1921, and eventually settled in Tel Aviv where he joined other Jewish writers dedicated to their radical vision of modern Hebrew poetry.
