Since the formation of the IRA, they have been fighting to separate Britain from Ireland and have gone to extensive lengths to get their point across.  They mainly utilize violent and deadly actions to push their points across.  In an interview with Brian Hanley, author of  “The IRA A Documentary History, 1919-2005, he argues that , “ although there are shifts and breaks in this history, there also continuities.
