Chapter 5: The Creation of the Infamous

"A virus? I don't get it? It's like infecting a program and controlling them like a robot, but these are humans who are being controlled. How can this be possible?" asked the President.
"Humans and robots are not much different when it comes to processing. According to the McCulloch-Pitts neuron, like computers, the brain does not produce thought, rather they calculate thoughts. Both have a similar mechanism--circuits for robots and the cortex for humans--that receives information which 'moves only through signals and that signals have existence only if they are embodied.'1 Therefore, humans and robots are alike because they both process through receiving information through similar mechanisms. In this case, the virus is inserted into the human body where information is received and sent from the neuron to the brain which makes them obey only the command that is embedded in the virus." Skyler continued, "The virus planted in the aSync was probably timed to activate at a specific time and programmed to infect the neuron, which controls the human's nerves and mind, and order people to seize the X-bomb," explained Skyler.
"But I thought there was an anti-virus that was built by Norton that would terminate any viruses," said the President confused.
"Viruses that are already planted are hard to be detected," Skyler continued, "Plus, no antivirus programs are fully capable of completely deleting viruses. They can reduce the risk but cannot fully remove malwares. This is why I couldn't trust this product."
"Then what should we do? Can't we destroy the aSync, so that the virus would be detached from the human body?" the President suggested
Skyler sighing, "It's not that simple. In this state, there's too many people who are infected, and any damage to the aSync might kill the user."
"How about using the EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) to shut down all the programs?" proposed the President, who was running out of options.
"It will only stop them temporarily until the virus activates again. It won't get rid of the viruses that's already planted in the device," replied Skyler.
Giving up, "Then do we have no solution to win this war?" the President uttered, "Do something professor! We only have a minimal time in our hands. The barrier will break any minute and the infected people will break in. If that happens, then we won't be able to stop them."
Skyler squeezed his brain as hard as he can for several seconds, and suddenly, something clicked in his head. "I have an idea. We can create a stronger virus!"
"A what?" asked the President in disbelief.
"A virus of our own! The source of the virus is probably coming from the Adam's Company. Therefore, if we shoot the EMP and stop all electronic equipments, we will be able to hack into the source of the virus and plant another virus so that we can stop the infected people from attacking us. It's a counter attack!" proposed Skyler in an exciting voice.
"It sounds complicated. You think your plan would work?" asked the President with worry.
"We don't have any options left. Our only option is to hope that this would work," assured Skyler.
Without no choice, the President made the call, "Okay, Professor. Everything is up to you. The world's peace is under your hands. Everyone here are to follow all orders of the Professor. Professor Skyler is now in charge of this place."

An opportunity was opened, but the main obstacle was still in Skyler's way.
"Now, how can I make a virus that would stop people's actions. Think, Skyler think. You can do this." Skyler was tearing his hair out while his forehead shoved on the desk for several minutes. He was mumbling some of the words that he was thinking in his head. Finally, after a half an hour, Skyler found a solution,  "Yes! I'll play with the neuron nets and set a new proposition"  exclaimed Skyler and went right to work on his computer.
As he was concentrating on developing the virus, he uttered, "May the signified proposition be that if neurons A and B are both true, then C is true. But, if I change the B to an inhibitory, then neuron C becomes false and ceases to fire." After a couple hours, Skyler succeeded in making a virus that would counter Adam's virus. "This is it! This will save the world from destruction! You're an antidote to the world but an unhealthy one, so I will name you the "Infamous."
