Hispanic Immigrants

While Hispanics had already lived in the American Southwest long before the US-Mexico border had been drawn, many of those that worked for the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company came to the region to escape the oppressive dictatorship of Porfirio Diaz at the turn of the twentieth century.
