Visualizations enable you to see the contents of a Scalar book in a variety of ways – sometimes revealing structures that wouldn't otherwise be apparent.
Every book comes with a set of global visualizations which readers can tweak and customize. Authors who want to direct readers to specific visualizations, however, have a few different options:
Visualization layouts can put a large visualization at the top of a specific page — these generally only show content that's somehow related to that page.
Visualization widgets let authors embed one of the global visualizations anywhere on any page, in a variety of sizes.
Most of Scalar's visualizations have been created using the D3.js library.
