Importing Media from the The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection
The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection is part of the their Open Access for Scholarly Content program and makes available 400,000 images for students, educators, researchers, and creators of non-commercial content.
To import media from The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection, click the menu at the top of the navigation on the left side of the window and select "Import". Next, click "Other archives" and then "The Metropolitan Museum of Art". The Metropolitan Museum of Art importer will appear, with an option to perform a search of the service.
Once search results are returned, you can preview individual files by clicking their "Preview" links on the right, or select one or more videos to import by clicking their associated checkboxes. Then, clicking the "Import selected media" button at the bottom will bring the media's metadata into Scalar.
