Autotrof

Based on the process of making food, autotrophic organisms are classified into 2 groups, namely:

Fotoautotrof

An organism that can use light energy sources to convert inorganic materials into organic matter. For example green plants, purple bacteria, and green bacteria. Which in the process of photosynthesis in bacteria is carried out anaerobically and oxygen is not produced.

Chemoautotroph

An organism that can utilize energy from chemical reactions to make its own food from organic material. For example iron bacteria, splashed bacteria, nitrogen bacteria. Chemoautotrophic bacteria use chemical energy from the oxidation of organic molecules to arrange their food. Organic molecules that can be used by chemoautotrophic bacteria are nitrogen, sulfur and iron compounds or from the oxidation of hydrogen gas in the process these bacteria require oxygen.
Examples of autotrophic organisms are green plants, green plants are organisms that are able to make their own food through the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of forming organic compounds from inorganic compounds with the help of light.

Heterotrophs

In heterotrophic groups are living things whose food sources come from other creatures.
