Trevor on Dis/Comfort

"Comfort is nice and its warm, but so is hypothermia.”

For Trevor, the physical and improvisational aspects of FRAP were anxiety producing for him, were dis-comforting for him. “I think people… are very invested in feeling always happy and safe and comfortable, but happy and safe and comfortable is usually coming on the backs of people who are not happy and safe and comfortable or just sort of maybe an act of submission."

“I think it’s worthwhile to inhabit and stick around in bad feelings sometimes”

“Improv requires a lot of emotional investment and I wasn’t super comfortable with it at first.”
