Nicole on Love
Nicole understands love as a methodological approach to scholarship and community building. Following from Leo Buscaglia, bell hooks, Paulo Freire, and others, she believes that love is largely missing from the academy.
FRAP was a instance of how love as a methodology can be brought to life in the academy. Nicole saw moments of love and learning in the process of FRAP which is why it was so transformative for the participants. The collective effort involved made a difference in peoples lives.
