How do you tell of your complexities in 140 characters?
i am a border being
on they bureaucratic forms, i am other
existing in the spaces in between, existing in the space outside
transMediterranean pause, transAtlantic pause,
mine is the movement of bodies, the fluidity of waters
bodies pushed, bodies pulled across time and space
histories untold, histories unknown
narratives waiting wanting to be reclaimed
i am a border being
brown and round
all around the edges
edges of fragmentation that are oh so smooth
the confluence of ruptures
diasporic ruptures creating bodies
the breath of colonial exhale on bodies
rupture and breath, breath and rupture,
i am a border being
being full of complexities, being full of complicities
