Sequence Analysis Assignment

Now you're going to expand your analysis of a single image into an entire sequence.  Discuss what the clip below conveys and how it achieves those effects. Since you may not be familiar with this film, you'll have to glean as much as you can about the narrative from the formal elements in this brief sequence.  It's perfectly fine if your inferences are incorrect, as long as you back them up with your analysis.  The primary issue you should address is how the formal elements of the scene (remember, this may include everything from camera angles to non-diegetic sound to costuming) communicate the scene's meaning.

This informal assignment should be no less than two pages, double-spaced. Consider it practice for your upcoming essay, in which you'll write a formal paper on an even shorter sequence from a film you've watched for this class.
