Pearson was born in Essex, England, in 1908. Ordained tot he priesthood in 1932, he married Maisie Yeates and had two children. He came to the United States in 1949 to serve as rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in La Porte, Indiana. He remained there until 1951, then moved to Kearney, Nebraska, to take charge of St. Luke's Church. He died there suddenly of a heart attack on 24 June 1957 and is buried in Kearney Cemetery.
