Wolfe Poem 4 Annotation 3

The idea that the photograph is being buried just as the past has indicates that the photograph is the only tangible object that connects the images of the past with the future, which is depressing because the main idea that Gluck is making throughout the poem is that lines are easily blurred through photographs and scenery does nothing to explain the memories that once were of the moment.
