kish-poem6-annotation1

1. The poem switches speakers, and once it does, this one begins to declare love for a significant other. During the speech, the speaker’s declaration may seem like something one would say while in love, but since it is placed at the end of the stanza, it appears to indicate that love does in fact end, because everything must end sometime.
