I have used Prezi throughout the course of the semester. I have learned about the different types of ways a Prezi can be used in school. Prezi is a platform used to create presentations. The whole idea is to tell a story. We want to share a story with our audience and be able to tell them what our purpose is. Every presentation has a different audience, purpose and situation. This is how the story comes to life. I believe this to be true because when you read books it is the same thing. The whole idea of telling a story. No two books are ever the alike. They each have their own importance, or purpose.

Prezi has been used to create different types of projects. Throughout the course of the semester I  have created Prezi’s on a number of projects. Some of the concepts that have been written in narrative form have been formed into a Prezi. This was done by highlighting the importance of the narrative and for the most part bullet pointing the main points. 

Prezi is not about the contents in the presentation but how you design the actually presentation. The way in which a Prezi is designed is called rhetorical design. It consists of contrast, organization, proximity, and alignment. This is where the concept of how you design it comes into play. Throughout the course of the semester, we were asked to design our presentations based on these concepts of rhetorical design. We were also asked to critique on our work as well as others. This has taught me to be more cautious when it comes to playing out a presentation. 
For the "Know Your App" project I chose Storify. Storify is used to tell a story through social media. This is how we make sense out of all the things on social media as well. This is through the use of text, documents, videos, and images. The Prezi consisted of text, and images to help tell my story. I was able to put this together with a color scheme that worked with Storify.  The facts and imagines then lead me to a tutorial of Storify. This was another way to engage my audience with the presentation. 

The way I designed this Prezi was For the "Know Your Meme” project, I put together a display mixed with text and visuals to help sell my product. The concept from this project was reflected in the Prezi. The Prezi layout was based on a present to enhance on the whole idea behind my app. The graphics consisted presents, social media icons, and lists. These are all the concepts displayed in my narrative and correlate with my main theme. When creating the Prezi, I highlighted the most important parts of my narrative. The most important things were as following: gifts formed any occasion, free to download, make a social media account, make lists for anyone, and the memes that will correlate with my theme. I also displayed a tweet on Prezi from my account advertising the app. 

I have advanced my skills with Prezi and figured out all the kinks it took to make it perfect. It was not easy, but it was a learning experience. This will allow me to advance on any other presentations in the future. My experience with Prezi has opened my eyes to look the different ways to tell a story. I believe that Prezi is a very useful tool. It is very easy to use for an online platform like Wordpress which we also used in this course.
