In the not-so-distant future, learning will take place at home via computers, and then teachers will be available to answer questions and offer students individualized attention during the school day.  Teachers will never be replaced; rather, flipped classrooms give them the opportunity to focus on the needs of their students instead of on getting through lessons that some students may not even understand.  It is only a matter of time before programs like Kahn Academy and APEX become the norm in the American public education system.
