What inspired my sticker was my year at UCR. The Bell Tower was such a main part of my year on campus as to many others and to not add it would be a crime. I also love seeing the“C” on the mountain, which reminded me of the “M” mountain back home in Moreno Valley, making UCR feel just a little more comforting. I also couldn’t forget the donkeys that are always on campus. I knew I wanted to include all these elements in my sticker design to reflect what makes UCR. While I chose to maintain the classic black-and-white theme used in past sticker designs, I updated Scotty to reflect the version we all recognize in 2025. It was important to me that people could look at the sticker and instantly identify him. I wanted Scotty to be embracing UCR and that is why he is holding the bell tower as he towers over UCR.
