"I was inspired by the diverse and unique campus, environment for learning, and students at UCR. Many people focus on the strength of the individual and their opportunity to fulfill their potential. I, instead, focus on what gets the students by: friendships, connections, and diverse ideas. I have chosen this path as I have immigrated into this country, and UCR has been a very accepting community and almost like a second home. I wanted to share how it feels, through a drawing medium, how diversity can be shown. We not only benefit from the variety and acceptance, but it opens up the path to mutual respect to all."

About the Artist:

I’m a 21 year old Hispanic student studying Computer Science, with an interest in Computer Vision. I love to draw, cook, play video games, and board games in my spare time.
