What does missing feel like?
It's kind of like a thing in your stomach. And it's hard to ignore, 'cause it's always there .. until you've found the thing that you're missing. And um, it's gone away, because I've been here for a while now, but it's still there, it's always there. It's surprising what you miss—you miss the sound of a cupboard—cabinet door slamming, or um, footsteps, or the sound of snow crunching—because we don't get snow here (laughing).
