INTRO

To me Into the Forest is much more than just a 3D group of children in the form of shadows playing hide and seek in an abstract forest . Like the artists said themselves it allows the viewer to appreciate child movement on its own by detaching it from the actual bodies of the children and by making the viewer share the scene with them. However, I believe that he effect on the viewer is even deeper than that. Once he appreciates movement by itself and even experiences it  he will be taken back to a specific part of his childhood, a part that will be awakened by the art piece, a part that will help him to confront the mechanic society in which he lives.

With this essay I want you, the reader, to understand how Into the Forest takes the viewer back to that part and evokes it in his interior. This means I want you to understand how this part works and why would he want to recover it. I'm giving you two different ways in which you can read the essay:

Branched
With this layout you get to choose exactly what component of the essay you want to read. The essay is separated into different sections  which each answer one of the questions: What is Into the Forest? What exactly is it that awakens in the viewer? and Why should this be awakened? These sections are also divided into more sections which you are free to explore.

Path
If you prefer to read this is essay like you would read any other one or more like you would read a book you can use the path layout. With this one you only need to read page after page in a specific order which I chose thinking about the essay as a whole.

Jiwon's comment:
I like how you approach the reader explicitly and tell them that there are two ways in which your essay can be read. It is very precise and succinct, like how instructions to use a product or play a game normally is.
However, I don't think I can clearly see what your metaphor is. From what I've read, on this page, you are giving the reader an introduction to what Into the Forest is, what significance it has and the way the essay to be maneuvered.
