Henriette and Henriette

Imagine two women: one is a devoted wife and mother who is adored by her son and idealized by her husband. The second, a lesbian divorcee who fled the stifling society of 1930's Connecticut to have many amorous adventures in the free and expressive atmosphere of Paris. As you explore the bits and pieces of each woman's life, reflect upon how you perceive them and the judgements you may be placing upon them. Who is more interesting to you? Who do you respect more? Is one woman more in control of her life than the other? Whom would you choose to meet? Think about these questions and others as you begin the exploring the stories of the two Henriettes...
