display.vibrate
Function: display.vibrate(800)The application offers several types of output: visual, audio, and haptic. Jason Najarro's research into the cognitive functioning of a person suffering from dehydration, lead him to recommend a simple visual interface and as a significant haptic output to guide a person on their way using the vibration of the phone. For example, the phone vibrates more the closer the traveler gets to the water cache.

Note that following the application's java structure, the haptic output is still framed in the context of visual output (display), offering a sense of the dominance of spectrality in concepts of application design. It is fair to say that most application designers do not imagine dehydrated users.
