The Y&S Nazarian Family Foundation: Mission and Priorities
In the year 2000, Sharon Nazarian brought an outside consultant who sat and interviewed all of the members of her family. The consultant asked them what their passions were, what they cared about, in what areas they wanted to make a difference, and what they wanted to be their family legacy. Through the result of the questionnaires and interviews, the family came up with a defined core mission and priorities for the foundation. The foundation has three core priorities: first education; second public policy; and third arts and culture.
