The foundation does a lot of programming in Israel with after school enrichment programs from kindergarten to the 12th grade. They give large scholarships to many universities, in a strategic manner to try to give back to the Iranian community in Israel, by targeting scholarships to Iranian students or those with Iranian heritage. They also try to give scholarships to women in the sciences, because they feel that the future of Israel is really in the sciences. Israel also lacks women in sciences, so the foundation tries to help support that segment of society. Their focus is especially in the Northern and Southern parts of Israel because investments are mostly focused in the middle, where Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are core centers of economic, political, and cultural activities. The most important component for the Nazarian family is impact, and as a result, their investments go to where it is needed, which is in the North and South of Israel.
